This newborn sleep session will guide you through what to expect when it comes to newborn sleep. Developmentally, newborn babies are not programmed to sleep all through the night. But there are a number strategies you can use from day 1 to help your newborn feel more settled, assured and content which will ultimately lead to better sleep for the whole family.

  • Recognising your baby’s sleep cues
  • Safe Sleep
  • Bedtime Routine
  • Dressing your baby for sleep
  • Creating the optimal sleep environment
  • Gentle settling techniques
  • Responding to night wakings

Class lasts around 2 hours depending on how many questions people ask.
